Two-Story Full Gut Renovation Including Structural Work – Homestars Review
I’d like to start this review off by saying that I was beyond cautious when looking for a company to hire for my renovation. Not only had I heard horror stories from other women who had hired other companies for smaller renovations and had been taken advantage of, but I myself had experienced something similar five years ago while renovating my kitchen.
I was left with a very sour taste on what renovations look like when women try to do it alone and reluctantly decided to take this much needed project on.
After months of researching, recommendations, checking online reviews and holding interviews, I decided to go with Rolando and the Rovimat Group team. My two-story home renovation included a full gut and complete structural work on the main floor.
I chose Rolando and his team because of their expert knowledge, assurance and their constant communication throughout the process. They were able to provide us with multiple quotes and ideas regardless of how indecisive I was being. Rolando always took time to answer any questions or any concerns I had and always kept me informed.
When any unforeseen issue arose Rolando would quickly consult with me about what was needed and never continued on until I agreed for them to do so.
The Rovimat Group team was always punctual, polite, informative and at the end of each day they left the job site immaculate, even during demolition! After the job was completed there were some things that had to be modified and Rolando never hesitated, he came and took care of it right away.
As someone who is extremely A type and always on top of things, I can honestly say this team deserves no less than 5 stars.
I highly recommend the Rovimat Group for any of your home needs. As a woman doing this renovation on my own, the process was made a million times easier because of Rolando’s honesty, integrity and reliability.
I am constantly bragging about how beautiful my home is now and happily referring him to friends and family!

2 Storey Addition And Basement Underpinning – Homestars Review
We hired Rovimat to do a 2-storey addition on our 100 year old house, and underpin and finish our basement. We met with several contractors beforehand – as soon as we met with Rolando, his obvious knowledge and confidence in the required work made our decision easy. Rolando and Kevin were great to work with and very accommodating. They were always available to talk either in person or by phone and talk you through things, and you never got the impression you were inconveniencing them. When issues arose with the plans, Rolando was always able to figure out a work around at no additional cost. Our neighbors had nothing but good things to say about the crew – they were always very courteous and respectful. The project was completed on time and on budget. We are thrilled with the work -the attention to detail and craftmanship is obvious. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Full Gut And 2 Storey Addition- Homestars Review
We did a full gut and built a 2 storey addition. All walls, floors, ceilings, heating, air con, kitchens and bathrooms came out and were binned. The only original bit is the front door. We built back a really modern ‘Hollywood’ style house and it looks fantastic.
Rovimat Group are great. On time, on budget, fully informative, a pleasure to work with them and their trades. 100% recommended. We will use them again.

Roof Reframing And Structural Renovation- Homestars Review
When we found out the main roof beam of our house was about to collapse, and we needed to literally tear the whole thing off, we didn’t know who could take on this job in a 100 year old semi-detached house. Rovimat was recommended as being one of few contractors in Toronto who could be trusted with this type of job. Rovimat rebuilt the entire 2nd floor of our house, attic, and roof, raised the ceilings, did sound proofing, windows, and all the finishing. Our hardwood floors turned out beautifully, and they have remained helpful as the job progressed leading us through the permit and inspection process. We are very happy with the results of our renovation, and love how it turned out.
